The same night as Mark and Devin's date I secretly surprised Mark with a date of our own. I had left little notes and clues throughout the week leading up to our date Saturday evening on August 27th.
Because of Joseph's schedule I still need to be there close to bed so we did an early date from 5 to 9 pm. I reserved a tandem bike from byu outdoors unlimited! We had a blast! We biked up the canyon from Provo to Canyon Glenn. We stopped part way and spread out a blanket and ate our subway I'd packed in my backpack. We just laid and chatted on the blanket for a bit which was pretty magical and then continued up the path. It was kind of hard on the way up and definitely faster on the way back.
We finished the date by getting shakes at artic circle. We saw our old landlord Jolynn Vogel and Mike and Shanelle's family there. It was a good time catching up. As we pulled into home I realized we didn't get a picture on our bike! (It's a tandem #studioc) so sad! But even without the pic, we did it and loved it!
I'm going to try and fix the date on this post. It was an old draft from when we did our garage sale but I decided not to blog about it and changed it to what it is now. Unfortunately it kept the date from when I started the initial draft.
