Fun Adventures...

August and September have brought on some really fun adventures for our family.

Adventure #1

We went to Arizona for my immediate family reunion and Kevin's "farewell" talk! We had the reunion at my parents cabin. It was a circus theme and one of the activities we did that coordinated with that theme was called body boppers! It was a hit! Everyone played and ran into each other! The cutest was when the really little ones played like Emily and her cousin Addison! Emily was very nervous and Addy was ready to charge at her and run her over! It was hilarious!

Adventure #2

Emily's 2nd Birthday party! Emily turned two on Sept. 9th! It was one of the funnest days ever! Mark and I had decorated with signs and balloons the night before. Anytime anyone would call and sing to her, her whole face would light up! She loved every second of it! When I reminded her that morning that it was her birthday she said, "Eat Cake Mom! Eat Cake!" I laughed and told her that we would at her birthday party that evening!

For her party we just invited family which most importantly included her cousins! She loves them soooo much! We kept it super simple: we played duck duck goose, then opened presents and then ate cupcakes and ice cream cones (very kid friendly)! ;) After that the kids played outside and we just all enjoyed chatting with family! Emily loved every minute of it and that made it a day of pure joy for me! It is way awesome to be a mom! Below are pics from her party!
