October Highlights!

We started the month out with our last trip to Bear Lake to play in the sand! Building sand castles is one of Emily's favorite things to do! It was cold but we were dressed properly and so we had a blast!

After visiting cousin Eliza one day it inspired Emily and I into making a fort! We read books and watched a movie all while we were hiding in our fort!

The first snow fall happened this month! It was awesome to go outside with Emily and stick out our tongues and try to catch snowflakes! She loved it and has been wanting more snowflakes ever since! Much to her dismay and her mamma's delight we have had warmer weather ever since.

Next it was time to carve our pumpkin! It is one of my favorite things about halloween! Emily was sooo funny! We really had to coax her into putting her hand in the pumpkin and pulling the guts out. She didn't really enjoy that part at all! So I know in the third picture below you can't actually see the pumpkin but that is it! That is what it looked like all lit up! We had a great time!

Last but not least... HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Trick or treating was incredible! Emily did soo good and it was fun to watch her! Her and her cousin Koda held hands almost the entire time... absolutely adorable! He was such the little gentleman! In case you can't tell from the pics: Mark and I were chef's (I have a "bun in the oven") and our sweet Emily was a little orange fairy or perhaps the Fairy of Halloween!

  1. Cute, cute! I love the Halloween costumes. Brian and I were going to be chefs as well with "a bun in the oven," but Bekah was sick a week and a half before Halloween and we weren't sure if we were even going trick or treating. So, I never finished the costumes. Luckily Bekah felt better in time for Halloween and she was a little fairy as well. Too funny. Great minds think a like. :) Hope you are feeling great with your pregnancy still! I just schedule my c-section for Jan. 20th. Yay!
